AICL assignments
Today we have got our first assignment which is we have to submit by 27th October.

Assignment 1
You have to create OHS awareness material for the Graphic design and Printing Company. The material could include posters, brouchers or any other method that will educate the employees of the company about the OHS and its procedures. The aim of the assignment will be to make everyone in the company involved in OHS issues.
You have to answer the questions to prepare a report on the base of which you will start designing your other materials such as posters
· Identify the major hazards in this workplace.
· What safety devices are on this machine and what are their functions?
· Where are the fire extinguishers and fire exits?
· Who is the first aid officer in your section?
· Where is the first aid kit kept?
· What should you do in case of fire or accident?
· Who should you report any dangerous situation to?
· What do these symbols mean? (eg hazardous chemicals, goggles, footwear, fire equipment)
· Where safety data sheets kept are and what information do they contain?
· Where can you find information about safe levels for discharges or emissions?
· What manuals, safety and other documentation are relevant to this task and where are they kept?
· What information is included in these documents?
You have to submit
Part A
Create a Report answering the above questions and identifying hazards, and planning how to avoid it.
Part B
Design at least 5 designs per group that will be distributed in the company for OHS awareness issues.
